WHO finally admits we are not all at risk from Aids

In the 1980s the Government spent untold millions claiming that we were all at risk of Aids. Instead of targeting the people who were actually at risk from the disease we were told that we were all vulnerable.

It was tosh then and it is tosh now.

Now the World Health Organisation's top HIV expert has admitted that the threat of a global Aids epidemic is over.

Rather than being a risk to populations anywhere, the threat in developed countries is largely confined to gay men, drug addicts and prostitutes and their clients.

The concession comes just months after the United Nations admitted overstating the threat of Aids, slashing estimates of the number of people with HIV worldwide from nearly 40million to 33million.

All we need now is for them to admit that there is no such thing as man-made global warming.
