Gerry Sutcliffe, the Culture minister, wants lap dancing clubs to be brought under the same legislative rules as sex cinemas and peep shows. He admitted that the Government was worried by the rapid increase of clubs.
Why? What has it got to do with the government?Yes, before you ask, I have been to a lap dancing club. But would I class it as a sexual experience? No. It wasn't in the least erotic. I know several girls who work in clubs and for them it is not a sexual experience either.
