Well done to the Irish - a resounding victory for the No camp.

Will it make any real difference? Sadly, that's also a no.

UPDATE: The Irish government have admitted that they lost. But European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said he had spoken to Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen and agreed with him that this was not a vote against the EU.

What planet are these people living on? Of course it was a vote against the EU!
