Politicians really should think before they open their mouths.
The Times reports John Hutton, the Blairite business secretary who has taken a stand against the unions, responded by dismissing their influence, as asking, “Who are they? What is their mandate? Who elected them?”
One might be tempted to ask, who elected Gordon Brown?
