More bluster from the government

The Sun reports today on a new government plan to charge immigrants to come into Britain.

The newspaper says: “Ministers hope the new levy will raise up to £15million a year for extra housing, hospitals and school places.”

Leaked papers reveal the fees will be on a sliding scale, with higher charges for those with children, sick or elderly relatives.

The paper says: “Immigrants who tend to consume more in public services such as children and elderly will pay more than others.”
